Weekend Show

Friday was very slow.  I spent the day busying myself in the shop.  Tried my hand at putting together some baskets for the patio.  It was pretty fun and the baskets came out pretty.  Sunday was much better.  Started off with a visit from a local guy and his wife who will be having a show of local ag people and they invited me to join, said my wines, goat's milk soaps and lavender hand cream went right with what they had in mind.  Yeh!!! I'll be there and will let you know more about it as I find out more.  Had many sweet friends and family stop in to say hello and show their support.  Had a chance to visit with my buddy Renee, the artist and writer and I now have some of her cards in my shop.  I'll have to post some pictures tomorrow.  Her work is so cool.  As well had a chance to meet many new people today.  Many children and young at heart, that although it was a soggy day, wanted to visit with the goats.  As well Reese aka "Little Kitty" loved the company, she was just sure everyone came to see her, she loved all their petting.  I appreciate the way young people just "get it" and they want what is good and natural for their children.  It makes it all worthwhile.
