Our local cow friends |
We were feeling pretty good about getting the pm for the chamber going on, then I see my local designer friend Catherine Dishion, with Spaces By Design getting her groove on. I'd have to call her the energizer bunny. Catherine is gimping a little with her knee after a recent surgery and is getting it back into shape, but does that keep her down? No, she's hosted the Corbett Ladies Tea, the Friendship Garden Club and has the Dew Drops East County Garden Tours coming up too. Catherine is most inspiring to keep at it. She helped us out with figuring out our living room when we were ready to get rid of the carpeting and try something new. It worked out beautiful, and didn't have to be expensive.
Ok so back to winery stuff. The bottling and labeling.
Now labeled up and ready for market are is our Oregon Blush Pyment (a blend of golden muscat and Marechal Foch grapes with honey).
And our Oregon Peach Wine. Peaches from out on the west side. This is wonderful semi-sweet wine, described by some as much like a German white (ie Riesling or Gewurztraminer), but the fragrance and taste of it also reminds me so much of our White Foch Pyment that will be coming out a little later in the season.
We'll be pouring our wines at Outta the Box Auctions tomorrow night and Timeless Designs Antiques at Troutdale First Friday, Friday evening. Check them out and come pay a visit. Otherwise we will see you this Saturday at the Gresham Farmers Market.
Leaning Star Winery offers small batches of handcrafted wines. Our winery is located on the outskirts of Gresham, Oregon, a short jaunt to the freeways in all directions. Learn more about Leaning Star Winery or send us an email and contact us.
